In Alaska, after the month of September has passed, winter is no longer exciting, at least for me. And when I think that it'll be another eight months before I can start working seriously in my yard I get a bit restless.

Two or three yeas ago I began to write to help pass the long nights and short days. Amazingly, at least it would have been amazing to my high school English teachers, this pasttime was enjoyable. |
